Fisherman And Little Fish

One day, a Fisherman caught a little fish. It was the only fish he had caught all day.
“ Pray, let me go!“
said the little fish.
“ I am much too small for you right now I can‘t feed you! If you put me back into the river I shall soon grow and then you can make a fine meal off me.“


“ Nay, nay, my little fish“
said the Fisherman.
“ I have you now, I might not catch you in the future.“

A little thing in hand is worth more than a great thing in prospect.
